Drivers are needed

Does your car need something to do?

How about using your car and volunteer to transport seniors to medical appointments? Drivers are needed in your community. Would you like to make a difference? A few hours a week is all that is needed. The added bonus is meeting new people.

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is inviting you to help other senior citizens who do not have transportation or are no longer able to drive themselves. The Volunteer Transportation Corps is in the process of recruiting drivers to transport seniors to appointments.

Nutrition sites could also use volunteers to transport patrons for the lunch hour.

If you are 55 years of age or older, interested in driving for the Volunteer Transportation Corps, please contact Debbie Farnsworth, Senior Services Coordinator at 946.7530. If you have other interests or skills, please call for more information.
