Collins advances to state competition

Tiffany Collins captured two first places in the Section 5 Meet of Champions to advance to state competition in Division I.

She competes in shot put and discus for outdoor track. Only winners and an elite group of runners-up are invited to the state championships. Collins duplicated her 2003 double win with a toss of 37 ft. 2 in shot put, and a discus toss of 122 ft. 6.
