Scramble golf event June 12 at Taranwould

B.F. Golfing will host a two-man scramble tournament (women also invited) on June 12 at 8:30 a.m. with a shot-gun start.

Deadline is today; call Bob Freeland at 926.5802 or Jose Hernandez at 597.3514.

The event is at Taranwould Public Golf Course, 2084 Hydesville Road in Newark. Proceeds will benefit a scholarship fund in memory of Matthew Freeland of Marion.

The cost is $45 per person and includes 18 holes with cart, beer, buffet and prizes.
