At Wayne Hills Country Club Wayne Hills Country Club, located at 2250 Gannett Road east of Lyons, is gearing up for a series of charity golf events. Monday, June 21, golfers in support of the Wayne ARC will tee up at Wayne Hills. John Fratangelo, President of WHCC Board of Directors, says the course is in great shape. The golf course at Wayne Hills opened 45 years ago this year and is considered one of the premier courses in the Finger Lakes Region and an ideal setting for group golf outings. In addition to charity golf events, the course can also be used by other groups with 8 to 120 golfers throughout the season, stated Tim Phelps, Golf Professional. 'The schedule still has several Monday openings which are ideal for large groups or we can work to fit in smaller groups during the week and in some cases even on weekends, Phelps added. Call him at 946.6944. Wayne Hills Country Club is open to the public and presently is offering a Spring Special through June 30th. A foursome can play WHCC for $100, which includes carts. Individuals may play 18 holes with cart for $30. Rates in July and August will be $120 for foursomes or $35 for individuals. Tee times can be made after 3:30 p.m. six days prior to golf date.
