NHS Baccalaureate this Sunday

Newark's Community Baccalaureate Service will be held at Park Presbyterian Church on June 20 at 7 p.m.

Several seniors from the class will be participating in the service. Greeting everyone on behalf of the class will be Class President Stacey VanOoyen. Doing the scripture readings will be Class Vice President Joe Burgess and Class Treasurer Bree Ann Gordon.

There will be a message to Class from the Rev. Dan Benedict, retired pastor of the First Baptist Church, Newark; Words of Reflection from High School Principal Kevin Whitaker, and other area clergy will participate.

A chorus of Seniors will provide special music under the direction of Jean Bendix, and Ann Johnson will be the organist. The entire community is invited to this spiritual time of reflection to honor the Newark graduating class.
