Happenings On June 20, Father's Day testimonies were given by Elaine Van Camp honoring her father, Peter Sonneville and one written by Kim Laird honoring her father, Tim Leno, at the Second Reformed Church. Dan and Alani Herd brought their son, Zachary Jaden, born on March 24, for dedication on Father's Day at the Marion United Church. Great-grandfather Rev. Gerald Harris, past interim pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. 'Never, ever, cut a child's hair in anger - or after two cups of coffee.' Those stopping by the Museum on Saturday pored over the pictures of earlier Marion school classes. A scrapbook of school activities from 1938 to 1942 also attracted attention from the guests. The Food Pantry would like to thank the STAFF OF THE MARION POST OFFICE for their excellent Food Drive. It was a wonderful effort and is much appreciated. 'It's not how much you earn that makes you rich, it's how much you save that makes you rich!' Copyright
