Girl Scout Sunday at Lyons Church

On March 7, The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons will recognize and celebrate the Girl Scouts of Lyons during the service of worship. All Girl Scouts and their leaders are invited to attend in uniform. The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling Hummel ( a former Girl Scout) will preach. Her sermon is titled 'Under Her Wings.'

During the service, the Woman of Faith for 2004 will be announced and celebrated. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will also be shared. The choir, under the direction of Mrs. Camille Clark, is preparing special music. A time of fellowship will follow the 10 service of worship.
