Program on Hale and Parshall in Lyons

The Lyons Heritage Society will meet on March 15, at 7 p.m. in the Lyons Public Library.

There will be a brief business meeting followed by a program given by Chris Davis. Davis will present a slide show program on the Hale and Parshall Companies of Lyons. Alfred Hale and Hendee Parshall began purifying and bottling peppermint and other essential oils in 1862.

Davis is a member of Lyons Heritage Society, the Wayne County Historical Society, Genesee Bottle Club, Executive Director of Arcadia Historical Society and is the Town of Arcadia Historian.
