1950's slide show at Arcadia Museum
Newark was a busy place in 1956 and 1957. Join folks Saturday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the Arcadia Historical Museum for a presentation of slides taken by Mary VanNorman and donated to the museum. Included are the building of Newark plaza, high school, the Elks Lodge, the Rose Festival Parade, and more.
Bring your memories of the early days of the plaza.
The program is free (with donations gratefully accepted). The museum (331.6409) is located at 120 High St. (across from the library).
