'Ducks' dinner in Clyde

The Dinner/Auction of the Eastern Wayne Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will begin at 6 p.m. on March 27 at Lancaster's Party House on Rt. 31 in Clyde.

This is a primary fundraiser for the work of the Ducks Unlimited organization, which during its more than 60-year history has generated millions of dollars to benefit wildlife.

Sports people, outdoor lovers, and connoisseurs of fine art will gather for the evening which will begin with hors d'oeuvres and a social hour, followed by a prime rib dinner and end with an auction/raffle featuring such things as the framed ready-to-hang works of famous outdoors artists such as Bateman, Redlin and Barnhouse, valuable hunting firearms, and outdoor related items.
