Ryan Ford and Jessica daSilva Students from St. Michael School have been working hard learning to dance and sing while memorizing lines for this weekend's production of the musical play Tea For Two.

The play is an original work written by 8th grader Gregory Maddock. The directors are Lauren Maddock and Joan Grambo, choreographer is Shari List, while Renate Dewa is in charge of the props, scenery and stage crew. Paul Dewa is in charge of the sound and special effects. Pam Rogers is the producer. All of these and many other parent volunteers have put in several hours working with the students to perfect the performance.

The story is about an ambitious young woman who strives to become a novelist. Her family and friends attempt to help her to attain her goal until a pair of unlikely villains interfere. The story incorporates some familiar Broadway show tunes.

There will be two showings of the play: March 20 at 7 and March 21 at 2 p.m. in the Newark High School Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and $4 (students and seniors).
