 'All of us want to do well. But if we do not do good, too, then doing well will never be enough.'

Wednesday is the fourth grade Spring Concert - 7 p.m. in the Elementary School auditorium.

The High School Bands will present a concert on Tuesday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the High School auditorium.

April 1 - Eighth Grade Science Fair

Margaret Michielsen is residing at the Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus.

The Dutch Dinner at East Palmyra Christian School is this evening from 5 to 7.

Barb and Bill DeWandel spent the weekend in Buffalo, where their grandsons took part in a three-day Pepsi Hockey Tournament. Kirk Cody of the 'Squirt A' team won the championship and his brother, Kyle of the 'Mites' were the runner-ups. There were teams competing from Ohio, Michigan and all parts of New York State. They played on two large ice rinks in Buffalo and came home with trophies to show off to family and friends. The boys are the sons of Dave and Kathy Cody of Webster.

Monday - March 29 is the Chicken and Biscuit Dinner at the United Church.

April 28, 1955: Fifteen enthusiastic baseball hopefuls answered Coach Dick Witter's call for Marion's 1955 baseball team.

The Fire Department will hold a pancake breakfast on Sunday, March 28 from 7 to 11. The cost will be $4.

Fred Coisman is recuperating from a broken ankle.

John VanStaalduinen has returned home following a stay at the Strong Memorial Hospital.

'Money isn't everything, but it sure keeps the children in touch.'

April 15 - Carrie's Birthday Bash - Lots of music and fun. You may remember Pat Torpey who played guitar and sang in the area some years ago. Lunch at the Memorial Art Gallery, Rochester.

May 3-7 - Springtime in Vermont with lots of places to visit. A good value and a variety of things to do. Flyers available.

June 7 - Elmira for the Ferko String Band, dinner at Hilltop Inn.

July 20 - Showboat in Auburn at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. Lunch included.

August 12 - Old Forge, Deluxe Lunch Cruise (buffet dinner). Scenic train ride included.

September 22 - Fall Foliage, Lewis County (Adirondack area) Deer River Ranch, restored schoolhouse, Maple Museum etc. Box Lunch, dinner at Buffalo Head Restaurant.

October 12-14 - Noah at the Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, Evening at Dutch Apple Dinner theater, Amish country. Flyers available.

December 7-8 - New York City Christmas sights, shopping, Radio City Music Hall.
