Marion Legion news

The Marion American Legion will meet April 5 and May 3 at 6:30 p.m. The Legion Auxiliary meets April 12 and May 10 at 7 p.m.

The Sons of the American Legion (SAL) will be holding their monthly meetings at 7 p.m. on April 26 and May 24.

The Legion Auxiliary Roast Beef Dinner is April 16 from 5 to 7:30. Take-outs available. Please call in advance at 926.5571.

The Blood Drive held on March 2 was a success! There were 45 pints collected from 50 applicants. Volunteers were Connie Vinke, Bernice Sewert, Dorothy Wiant, Vivian Vorhees-Mason and Coordinator, Mark Wyman. Many thanks to everyone.

Driver Improvement - The American Legion and AARP are sponsoring a Driver Improvement Course on April 7 and 8 at the Legion hall from 6-10 p.m. There are only 35 seats available. The fee is $10. Checks can be made out to AARP. The course will give you points reduction on your license and insurance.
