Wine tasting at Museum

The Wayne County Historical Society will host a Wine Tasting on Friday, June 4 at the Old Jail Museum on 21 Butternut Street, Lyons between 5:30 and 8 p.m. to sample wines, appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to support Society operations.

K&M Discount Liquor is organizing the wine tasting and will have representatives on hand to answer questions about the various wines. Heluva Good Cheese, Inc. is donating the cheese and Society members and friends are supplying appetizers, hors d'oeuvres and desserts for the event.

Tickets may be purchased, for $10 each, at the Old Jail Museum (946.4943); and at K&M Discount Liquor, in the Newark Plaza (331.4836). Only advance tickets will be sold.
