Adopt a shoreline clean-up day

Save Our Sodus Inc. (SOS), a 600-member Sodus Point non-profit organization, announces that an Adopt A Shoreline Sodus Bay clean-up project will take place Saturday, June 5, at 8 a.m.

Volunteers will meet at the east side of the Ridge Road Bay Bridge at the former Shannon's Restaurant in Huron. Cleanup efforts will be concentrated on Third Creek.

Workers are encouraged to bring suitable clothing, including waterproof shoes or boots, and a bag for pickup of debris. Do your part to help SOS protect and beautify Sodus Bay, and the watershed.
