Writers reception in Lyons

The Lyons Community has several talented writers. Six of them will be honored at the first writers' reception/tea at the Public Library, 67 Canal Street on Saturday, November 6 from 2 to 5.

The six writers are Annette Harris, who has written about Newark and also the POW camps of Wayne County; Stanley Rich, a WWII Journal; Andrea Evangelist, Remembering Wayne; Mary Smart, a book about the sculptor, Frederick MacMonnies; Peter Sieling, textbooks and magazine articles; and Kurt Aldaag, who is in the publishing field and has written novels and a children's book.

This reception is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
