The 'Holiday Open House' at the Marion Museum is scheduled for December 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Refreshments available.

Thanksgiving will soon be here. Call me with news of your holiday friend and family gatherings.

Ann Boerman is once again making a list of bell ringers for the Salvation Army. If you can find time for this worthy endeavor call her at 926.5689.

Peg Pembroke was a recent patient at the Clifton Springs Hospital.

Happy Birthday wishes to Ina Benton who will celebrate her 93rd Birthday on November 18. Ina is presently a resident at the Newark Manor Nursing Home.

November 27, 1947: The Williamson Legion basketball team will invade the Marion gym Thanksgiving eve in the curtain raiser of the 1947-48 basketball season.

Happy winner of the 'Possible Dreams Santa Claus' at The Leaning Barn Open House, is Dee Lutz of Marion.

Santa's Secret Sale - November 20 from 9-1:30 p.m. at Braselton's Music Concert Hall, 3329 Route 21, Marion. 315-946-4788.

The high school musical costume committee can use the following sewing materials: Scraps Lace, Notions, Thread, Trim, Zippers, and other closures, costume jewelry, glitter, gloves, ladies evening hats, mechanical winch, prom dresses, robes. Take your donations to the High School.

As in the past, the Marion Elementary and High schools will be open for the community to walk in the halls during evening hours. Walking started November 1 and ends April 29 (6 to 8 p.m. during school days). If you have any questions, call 926.4228.
