Marion woman weds Laurel Susanna Stanton of Marion, daughter of Sherry and David Davis of Newark, and Tim and Becky Stanton of Marion; and Steven Joseph Taylor, of Webster, son of Joanne Taylor of Webster, and Ed and Debbie Taylor of Henrietta, were married August 21. The double-ring ceremony took place at Connelly's Cove in Wolcott, with the Rev. James W. Peters officiating. The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a white satin halter A-line gown embellished with beaded crystals. Karen Palatas of Fairport was the Maid of Honor. Penny Pierce of Rock Hill, South Carolina was the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included Lindsey Jackson of Marion, Taryn Spear of Fairport and Erica Brake, of Atlanta, GA. They wore periwinkle blue satin gowns, with flowers by Karen's Korner in Williamson. The Best Man was Keith Grieve, of Princeton, NJ. Ushers included Andy Taylor of Webster, Brian Taylor of Irondequoit, Mike Burdick of New York City; and Jamie Klien of Chicago. A reception was held at Connelly's Cove with 165 guests attending.
