History at Noon in Lyons

On Wednesday, October 6, History at Noon at the Wayne County Old Jail Museum, 21 Butternut Street, Lyons, will feature an illustrated talk by Sheldon King concerning the New York Central Railroad Pennsylvania Division line between Lyons and Williamsport, PA.

This 184-mile rail line provided a link between the New York Central mainline at Lyons and rail lines in eastern and central Pennsylvania. Coal was a chief commodity carried.

The 45-minute program will begin at 12:10. Feel free to bring a lunch. Beverages will be provided.
