AVSO Jamboree at the Red Rooster

Members of the American Veteran's Support Organization (AVSO) will be serving up chicken at Burnham's Red Rooster on Sunday, October 24 from 1-6 p.m.

The host band Tandee/Partyline will join Country Pleasure, Time and Again, Natural Image and The Movers to create an old-fashioned Jamboree setting. Door Prizes and raffles will add to the fun.

The menu will consist of Buster Burnham's famous Chicken Barbecue in addition to pulled pork.

Advance barbeque tickets are on sale at McBride's Newark Diner, Joey's Northside Grocery, The Newark V.F.W. Post 2883, Burnham's Red Rooster, and Bodine's at the South End. Tickets are priced at $6.50 for adults, 12 and under, $4.50.

Donations will be requested for admission to the Jamboree.
