Happenings A fundraiser for the Marion Habitat for Humanity House is a progressive dinner on Saturday, November 6, beginning at 6:15. Begin at St. Anne's for appetizers, Western Presbyterian for salads, soup and breads and Macedon Center Methodist for desserts and a teacup auction. $10 per person. Emily Estochen presented the Ministry of Music solo at the Second Reformed Church on October 24. The Everything and Anything Sale will take place on November 13 from 9 to 5 at the Marion American Legion Home on Witherden Road. The auxiliary will rent you a table or space at $10 and you sell whatever you want. You keep what you make. You may sell crafts, baked goods, or your unwanted items, or advertise your business. Please contact Gina Southcott at 926.4195 to reserve a space. The Daughter's of St. Anne's Church in Palmyra, will hold a bake sale on November 21, in lieu of the pie sale. There'll be lots of choices that you can slip into the freezer for Thanksgiving dinner. NOVEMBER 4, 1937- Farm Bureau Committeeman, William Howell at Marion, grew his own John Baer Tomato plants, set an acre and three quarters of land, and delivered to the canning factories 35 tons of tomatoes.
