Arcadia Historical Society to meet

The quarterly meeting of the Arcadia Historical Society will be Thursday, Sept. 9, at 7:30 p.m., at the Arcadia Museum, 120 High St.

Please note the meeting will not be held on the usual first Wednesday of September.

Larry Ann Evans will present 'The Capture of Oliver Curtis Perry.'

She will portray her famous great grandfather, Wayne County Sheriff Jeremiah Collins. A display will accompany the program.

All are welcome to attend the meeting, and the museum will be open. For info, call 331.6409.
