Meals on Wheels needs your help

Cooking daily and nutritious meals can be tough for some seniors. Can you picture yourself in that situation?

Can you help? Delivering one day a week could make a tremendous difference in someones life. A couple hours during the week is all we are asking for.

If you like to drive and meet new people, the perfect opportunity is available for you today. The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is inviting you to help homebound seniors in your community to remain healthy by receiving a daily nutritious meal. Area nutrition sites are also in demand for volunteers to transport patrons for the lunch hour.

If you are 55 years of age or older, you know that investing in the future is a wise decision. To volunteer to deliver meals, contact Debbie Farnsworth, Senior Services Coordinator at 946.7530. If you have other interests or skills, please call for more information.
