Info sought on Marion barn vandalism, burglary

Kathy Houston of Marion, 926.5652, is desperately seeking help. Her horse barn was illegally entered, vandalized and burglarized between July 25 and 31.

She is offering a reward for accurate information leading to the arrest of the people who did this.

Medicine was stolen and horse products were destroyed. Tack and grain barrels were overturned.

Bolts and gates were removed, and the horses had access to all hay and grain areas.

One horse was shut into the grain section and ate a lot of grain before he was found. This could have killed the horse.

The farm owner has been working with the Sheriff's Dept. for the past six weeks. They have a detective assigned to this case.
