Thanks for helping with Steingraber benefit

Cub Scout Pack 111 and Boy Scout Troop 111 would like to thank all the citizens of Sodus who came out and donated your cans/bottles, bought hot dogs and purchased bake goods at the benefit.

The two-day benefit raised almost $2000 to meet some of Zachary's medical costs. A special treat for everyone was that Zachary got a weekend pass from St. Mary's and came out and sat under the tent during the benefit. It was fantastic seeing him eat hot dogs and cupcakes with a huge smile on his face. We would like to thank the leaders who came on out and gave 8 hours a day for both days to keep the benefit running. You guys are awesome!

Zachary was scheduled to leave St. Mary's Rehab. on Sept. 9 and come home. He faces one more surgery in September to repair his skull. Zachary will receive tutoring at home and has plans to rejoin his 5th grade class in January.

The Cub Scout Pack is looking forward to his graduation into Boy Scouts with the rest of his Patrol in February. The doctors has given a prognosis of 100% recovery.

Your prayers and support of the family have meant a great deal and soon we will have Zack back!
