Fun with Single Friends

Summer may be winding down, but JSF is going full speed ahead. All single individuals are welcome to join the group at meetings held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Alex Eligh Community Center, located at 303 East Avenue in Newark at 7 p.m.

On October 6, it's a pizza and pop party for all who attend.

Get ready for the Halloween bash to be celebrated on October 20. There will be plenty of spooks, goodies, prizes and laughter (costumes optional).

Plan to attend, 'Get to know you night' on November 3 and don't miss the Thanksgiving feast on November 17.

Meet the group every second Saturday of the month at Crosspark Restaurant at 9 a.m. for breakfast or just a cup of coffee. (Oct. 9, Nov. 13, etc...)

The next Perkins Park Picnic is scheduled for September 26 at 1 p.m. Bring a dish to pass, a chair, tableservice and a drink. JSF will supply the meat, rolls and grill.

Plans are in the works for the Christmas Party at Flo's, so don't make any other plans for December 4.
