Sodus Agway station closed today

Agway Energy Products is closing its Ridge Road gas station in Sodus today. A statement from the company said that it would continue to provide heating and propane delivery service to all its customers.

Explaining that they 'could no longer remain competitive in the retail gasoline business,' the statement read, in part,

'...keeping the Sodus station open would have required substantial ongoing investments. Instead, we are using these investments to provide better customer value to you in our heating oil and propane delivery business and our residential heating and cooling installation/repair business.'

The company will also continue to deliver gasoline as well as on-road and off-road diesel.
