Charity auction Saturday in Ontario

The April 9 Charity Auction for the Wayne County Rural Ministry/Come-Unity Center (Williamson) will be held Saturday, April 9, at the Ontario Golf and Country Club.

Proceeds will support the Center's programs of helping people in need in Wayne County, with the basic needs of human survival.

Carol Ritter-Wright, retired newspaper columnist, will be the auctioneer. A buffet dinner begins at 6, followed by the auction at 7:30. More than $56,000 worth of items will be offered for bid, including toys, sporting equipment, gift certificates, gardening supplies, crafts, tools, camping gear and much, much more. The featured item is a set of antique Oneida Community silverware.
