Historical Society plans dinner Cynthia Howk of the Landmark Society of Western New York will be the speaker at the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society dinner on Thursday, April 14. Howk is an expert on historical structures and prior to her presentation, she will photograph Newark homes and buildings and feature a slide show to accompany her talk. The dinner is open to the public, and will be held at the Newark American Legion #286, corner of East Union and East Avenue. Cost is $16 per person for buffet dinner featuring ham and chicken.
