ABC commentator will speak in Newark
By John Zornow

'Health Care Reform' will be the topic, and noted ABC commentator Dr. Timothy Johnson will be the speaker, on Monday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Newark High School.

Dr. Johnson will be the first speaker in a planned series of famous personalities being invited to Newark, as part of the Timothy C. Johnson Cultural Platform.

As a tribute to retiring pastor Timothy C. Johnson of Park Presbyterian Church, a fund was dedicated in his honor last year, to establish the speakers forum at Newark Public Library.

'What a benchmark has been set,' said Newark's Rev. Tim Johnson, when he learned the ABC medical editor would be coming to Newark to participate.

Dr. Timothy Johnson is a regular contributor on ABC News and Good Morning America, and he's a frequent medical journalist on Nightline and 20/20.

Tickets are $10, on sale now at the Newark Public Library, Arcadia Historical Society, Park Presbyterian Church, Newark Village Pharmacy, Wegmans in Newark, Community Bank, N.A., both the South Main St. and Plaza branches.

Tickets will be sold at the door.

Dr. Johnson's latest book is entitled Finding God in the Questions - A Personal Journey. A reception and book signing will follow the April 25 program.

For more information, call the Library at 331.4370.
