The 'Best of Broadway' christens the newly renovated Ohmann Theatre stage in Lyons. The cast, which hails from three Wayne County towns, is led by Lyons native Danielle M. Ellis. Irene Brown, director of the Lyons High School musicals, is on staff as choreographer and Rebecca Pezzulo of Clyde-Savannah/Seneca Falls is the accompanist. Ellis, who returned to Wayne County this past year, has gained extensive theatre experience over the ten years in which she has been away from this area, performing in over 20 musicals and plays, and directing/choreographing 7 musicals over that period of time. Danielle is, '...excited to be home again! The talent base has always been very strong in this area and I am excited to be working with this great group of people, and to present a show in this gorgeous theatre is in honor. As I walk in, I feel like I am in a Broadway show house of the 1920's.'
