Lyons Market plans for August

They would like to thank the following for making Family Fun Day (July 23) a success. Celebrate the Lyons Farmers' Market's 31st anniversary this year by attending special events.

August 6: Original songs by Beth and Bob Whitbeck

August 13: Market Anniversary celebration with cake and door prizes plus a visit from Everyone Rides, a therapeutic riding program.

August 20: Dance Expressions by Theresa aand the Lyons Heritage Society bake sale

August 27: Senior Appreciation Day with prizes from the Office of the Aging and screenings by Lyons Town ambulance. Also, music by Jim Murphy.

The Market is open from 7:30 to 11 a.m. each Saturday by the Village Park.
