Happenings Gord and I spent time last week at Southwick Beach with my sisters, Nancy and Linda,at our yearly campout. The weather was perfect and we toured the historic Sacketts Harbor Battlefield and ate at our favorite Cooper's Landing Restaurant. 'Charity is baking for the church bazaar; compassion is buying it back.' Rod and Helen Adriaansen hosted the Adriaansen Family Reunion on July 31. The kids splashed in the pool and the older folks looked over photos and talked over old times, before enjoying a delicious picnic supper. Marshmallows were once made from the root of the marsh mallow. I think I've just made my last batch of current jelly. (boy, do you need to pick off a lot of those little red balls - and then you still have to make the jelly). Nancy DeFisher is up from her home in Florida, spending time with friends and family in and around Marion. The Ministry of Music, at the Second Reformed Church on July 31, was a solo by Judy White.
