Community auction Saturday in North Rose

August 13, North Rose Lions Club will have a Community Auction at its barn on Storage Avenue in North Rose. Bidding begins at 4, under the direction of James C. Hoyt of the Village Auction Company.

This event has been conducted every year since 1964 and generates money to fund community-related service projects, as well as to help sight, speech and hearing organizations.

This is a general, used-merchandise auction with furniture, household items, glassware, china, appliances, sporting goods, etc. Many great items are available, including gift certificates and new merchandise donated by local restaurants and businesses.

Terms are cash or good check (sorry, credit cards cannot be accepted.) ID required for bidding number. No goods removed until settlement. No buyer's premium.

Donations to the auction will be accepted until noon Saturday, at the auction site.
