Picnic for Humane Society

The second annual Humane Society picnic in the park is planned for Sunday, August 21, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Williamson Town Park off Route 21. The price of admission is the donation of an item from the Shelter Wish List.

Activities Include:

A variety of vendors for browsing. Try your pitching skills at the dunking booth; for a couple of dollars you can get someone really, really wet! What picnic does not include food? Enjoy a hotdog, chips, and soft drink priced with the family in mind. After lunch, join the Ice Cream Social compliments of Palmyra's Chill n' Grill. Purchase an ice cream sundae for a dollar.

Feel lucky? Find out if your Go Fetch ticket paid off at 3 p.m. Watch the tennis balls roll and cheer your tennis ball on to the grand prize of $250 or a second prize of $150 and a third prize of $50. Go Fetch tickets are available at the shelter, from any board member, and at the picnic.

Yes, you can bring your best four-legged friend to the park for an afternoon of fun. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Wayne County.
