Coverlets, mints at Lyons market

The Lyons Heritage Society will be at the Lyons Farmers' Market on Saturday, August 20.

Their Lyons coverlets make great gifts for a student heading off to college. The Hotchkiss commemorative tea towels make a good hostess gift or can easily be hung on a kitchen wall as an attractive decorating accent.

Persons who have purchased the Leman Gourmet Mints say they're 'the best peppermints.' Also available: the small booklets, reprinted by permission, on the history of the Hotchkiss Essential Oil Company.

Lyons Heritage Society is also selling peppermint sticks as requested by patrons. Along with the fund raising items, there will be baked goods made by members. Lyons Heritage Society membership applications will be available. Lyons Heritage Society is charted by the New York State Education Department as an historical society to collect and preserve items of historical nature pertaining to the Town and Village of Lyons.
