Lyons Public Library Blog Created

The Lyons Public Library has created a Web log, or blog as it's more commonly known, to keep residents informed of what is going on at the library. The blog, www.lyonslibrary.blogspot.com, is hosted for free and is seen as an addition to the library's already existing website, www.lyons.pls-net.org

Called 'Check it out!' the posts in the blog will be added by staff and trustees at the library. Currently only a few posts are on the site, but director Theresa Streb, hopes that the residents of the community of Lyons will find it a fun and informative site. Hopefully, this will make Lyons even more aware of the library and the services it provides.
