Early Marion: 'At a special meeting of Marion Central School, a budget of $29,000 was approved. A resolution was presented and approved that in as much that the school taxes have become a burden that the teachers should return to the board 10 percent of their salaries for the coming year.'

Does anyone know who destroyed the American flag on the front porch at 'Jennie's House?'

A well-known evangelist once wrote the mayor of a big city. In preparation for his revival he requested a list of people who were in need of special prayer. The mayor sent a copy of the city phone directory.
