Blood drives planned in five towns

Red Cross blood drives are planned in Williamson, Lyons, Walworth, Clyde and Newark.

This Friday, Sept. 2, from 1-6 p.m., there's a blood drive in Williamson at the United Methodist Church on East Main St.

Sept. 14, 2-7 p.m. the blood drive is at the Lyons Fire Dept.

September 26 from 2 to 7 you may donate blood at Baptist Community Center, 3677 Main St. in Walworth.

Clyde Fire Dept. also hosts a drive on Sept. 26 from 2 to 7, at 15 Ford Street.

Thursday, Sept. 29, from 1:30 to 6:30, the location is Cornell Cooperative Extension, Route 88 at Hydesville Road, Newark.

The need for all types of blood is great. If you are between 16 & 65, weigh at least 110 lbs. and are in good health, plan to donate at one of the drives listed above. Call Sindy Pickering at 331.3783 to make an appointment.
