Hillary Clinton visits Apple Shed tomorrow

On September 1, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will join with representatives from Foodlink, along with area growers and producers, at an event at the Apple Shed, in Fairville.

They will showcase a low-cost distribution network that will help small farmers from 10 counties in the Rochester and Finger Lakes regions ship their produce to markets in Rochester and beyond.

The Farm-to-Fork Fulfillment Center partnership was established to help small farmers, who might not otherwise have access to long-haul distribution networks, sell their produce in like Rochester or New York City.

Clinton will be at The Apple Shed on Maple Ridge Road, Arcadia, at 5 p.m. Thursday.
