Our family enjoyed spending time together around the Thanksgiving dinner table and consuming the leftovers during the days that followed. (Let me know if you are entertaining, or visiting during this holiday season.)

'Happy 60th Wedding Anniversary Wishes' to Peter and Jean Krocke on December 2.

St. Gregory's Christmas Basket Program - collecting money and food donations through Dec. 17. If you take a tag from the Giving Tree, please return your donation AND the tag by Dec. 11 at the latest. Volunteers will be needed to deliver the baskets after Mass on Dec. 18. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. Call Bill McAvaney, 926.5309, with questions.

Shawn Taylor, son of Cheryl and Mark VanderBrook of North Main St., is home on leave from Ft. Benning, Georgia.

Advent Choral Festival, December 4 at 4 p.m., at the Palmyra Western Presbyterian Church. Come celebrate the season with your neighbors! Choral presentation by many local choirs combined with Advent scripture all followed (naturally) by luscious food!
