Lyons concert date changed

The Winter Concert date for the Lyons Middle and High School Bands has been changed from Monday, December 19 to Wednesday, December 21.

This concert in the Earl Buchanan Auditorium of the Lyons Middle/High School is open to the public.

Selections by the Jazz Band, Middle School Band, and Senior High Band will include medleys of the season, Christmas Time Is Here from 'A Charlie Brown Christmas,' Joy to the World as recorded by Mannheim Steamroller, and Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride.

Lyons Music Boosters had such a successful can and bottle drive this month that they have scheduled another for Saturday, January 7. Please start saving your cans and bottles now, and notify a Senior High Band member if you need pick-up. The Senior High Band is using the funds to help fund their trip to a national band competition in Virginia Beach.
