Christmas at Lyons Church

The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve is at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

The adult choir has prepared a cantata called The Song of Christmas by Roy Ringwald. The choir is directed by Camille Clark and accompanied by organist Janet Buell. Janice Bailey will sing No Lullaby.

The liturgist for the evening is Scott Simmons. He will also be a narrator in the cantata. The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling Hummel will preach; her meditation is 'Christmas Songs!'

Childcare will be provided for infants and toddlers.

On Christmas Day there will be a special service of 'Stories and Songs' in the chapel, at 10 a.m. The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons is located at 11 Queen Street at the corner of Broad. 946.4723.
