History: a look at Newark drug stores

'The Drug Stores of Newark, 1840-1960' will be presented by Chris Davis, on February 5, at 2 p.m.

The slide-illustrated program will be held at the Newark-Arcadia Historical Museum, 120 High St., Newark. Davis is the Executive Director of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society. The museum currently features a display of Newark drug store and medicine bottles, photographs and other items, as part of the 'Curing and Caring: Hospitals, Physicians & Nursing in Newark.'
