RSVP needs drivers Do you like to meet new people? Would you like to make a difference? If so, drivers are needed in your community. A few hours a week is all that is needed. Are you available to help seniors stay healthy? The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is inviting you to help other senior citizens who do not have transportation or are no longer able to drive themselves. The Transportation Corps is in the process of recruiting drivers to transport seniors to appointments. Wayne County Meals on Wheels is also looking for volunteers to deliver meals in your community. If you are 55 years of age or older, interested in driving for the Transportation Corps, please contact Debbie Farnsworth, Senior Services Coordinator at 946.7530. If you have other interests or skills, please call for more information. The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is sponsored by Wayne County Action Program and funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service and the NYS Office for the Aging.
