Clyde-Savannah girls win 58-54

The Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles (20-3) defeated Harley-Allendale-Columbia 58-54 last night, in the Class C final, at the Blue Cross Arena.

Merrick Volpe scored 28 points, including four 3-pointers, six steals and 14 boards, and she was named MVP of the game. Rachel Bruno scored 20 points, including a trey, while Haleigh VanFleet scored 10.Capturing their second straight sectional title: Head Coach Ed Collins, Jr., members of the squad Nicole Kolcqynski, Haleigh Vanfleet, Rachel Hondorf, CAndace Jones, Chelsea Young, Janaya Castro, Merrick Volpe, Rachel Bruno , Samantha Stevens, Jessica Dileo and Macey Kolcynski.
