Newark Churches to host Tsunami fund raiser

Woodlane Community Church announces a Chicken-N-Biscuit fundraiser will be held in the church fellowship hall, Friday, January 28.

The Emmanuel United Methodist, Newark First Baptist and Park Presbyterian churches will be joining with Woodlane Community church in this endeavor.

The Chicken-N-Biscuit meal will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end when the food is gone. The cost will be $7 per person and tickets are available at the door. All profit will be given to a non-denominational relief organization to help provide aid to those suffering in Southeast Asia. Donations from those not able to attend the meal will be accepted. Send your donation marked 'Tsunami relief' to Woodlane Community Church at 5694 Woodlane, Newark.
