'Anything Goes' on NHS calendar

The casting is done and rehearsals are under way for the Newark High School production of Anything Goes.

This show features the music of Cole Porter, with his witty and sophisticated lyrics and melodies that are unforgettable. The 38 members of the cast began their preparation with dance and acting workshops over the Christmas holiday break.

Nightly rehearsals continue with director Anne Wunder, musical director Jean Bendix, and choreographer Emily Howard. Performances will be March 4 and 5 at 7:30, and March 6 at 2 p.m. Mark your calendars now for this great theatre experience.
