Happenings The United Church of Marion chicken & biscuits dinner is Monday, Jan. 31, 4:30 until it's gone! The church is located at 3848 North Main Street. Dear Dan: Boy, did it snow! We stayed inside and watched TV and Gord had fun blowing the snow out of the driveway with his snowblower. I tried some new recipes, one of which is Frosty Orange Pie, which I have in the freezer for Super Bowl Sunday. Our family came to dinner last Sunday in celebration of our anniversary and Sue's Jan. 20 birthday. Simmer celery and leaves in one quart water and six chicken bouillon cubes for 15 minutes. Make roux with one stick margarine and one cup flour Add slowly, two quarts of 2% milk, stirring until smooth. Add cooked celery and broth and one teaspoon celery seed.
