Charity Golf Tourney

The Woodlane Community Church Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, July 30 at Taranwould Golf Course, 2084 Hydesville Rd., Newark.

The registration fee of $50 includes 18 holes of golf with cart, prizes, and a roasted chicken buffet. Proceeds will be donated to Wayne County Habitat for Humanity.

Golfers will tee off with a four-person team shotgun start at 2 p.m. playing scramble format Beverages will be available on the course with dinner being served immediately following the round.

The public is invited and encouraged to participate. Because of the low price, we have to limit this event to the first paying 72 people.

Registration forms are available at Burger King, The Corner Tavern, Citizens Bank (Plaza), Community Bank NA (Plaza), Joey's Northside, Cross Park Restaurant, Wendy's, Newark Public Library, Woodlane Community Church and Taranwould Golf Course.

Checks made payable to Woodlane Community Church, with the registration form, should be mailed or brought to the church at 5694 Woodlane, Newark, NY, 14513, on or before July 18.
